Brand Sense Partners Tapped to Expand TMBI’s Brands Through Licensed Products, Creating a New Stream of Revenue for the Thriving Media Company

NEW YORK – (January 9, 2017) – Trusted Media Brands, Inc. (TMBI) today announced a new agreement with licensing agency Brand Sense Partners (BSP) to represent the company’s iconic brands including Taste of Home and Reader’s Digest, as well as enthusiast brands Country, Country Woman and Farm & Ranch Living. Through the licensing agreement, BSP will create opportunities for TMBI’s brands to connect with consumers through licensed products, opening up new revenue streams and branding opportunities for TMBI.

“We look forward to working with Brand Sense Partners to create a successful licensing program for Trusted Media Brands,” said Bonnie Kintzer, Trusted Media Brands Chief Executive Officer. “This approach has created another avenue for us to connect with our audiences in a new and meaningful way, introducing our brands to a wider marketplace.”

By teaming with BSP, TMBI will advance audience experience by licensing products associated with each brand’s unique family, food, health, home, finance and humor content.

“TMBI has one of the most recognizable portfolios in the marketplace and we are excited to partner with them,” said BSP president Monica Hallinan. “We look forward to spreading the brand message of these media entities, while upholding the stellar reputation that Trusted Media Brands has created.”

BSP will focus on licensing cookware and small home appliances for TMBI’s leading food brand, Taste of Home, aligning with its food, cooking and entertaining content. Taste of Home pioneered user-generated content offerings across its platforms, featuring an interactive exchange of engaging information and recipes submitted by real home cooks from across the country. BSP will also align various health and lifestyle products with the Reader’s Digest brand to reflect its authentic and inspiring content. Reader’s Digest is recognized by 99 percent of American adults, with stories and advice on health, home, family, food, finance and humor.

BSP will also license products for select TMBI enthusiast brands: Country, Country Woman and Farm & Ranch Living, all of which reflect the many roles and interests of their readers through insightful profiles, practical advice and inspirational stories.
